I had a vacation planned for last week in Maine from LONG before our movie to San Diego was in the picture. Fortunately I was still able to go home for awhile and it was great.
UNFORTUNATELY my camera messed up and most of my photos didn’t get saved to my SD card!
It was a good time in New England and I miss it already. It gets harder and harder to come home and leave every time I do.
I got to see a lot of family and friends, eat real red hotdogs, have a Coffee Pot and some drinks at my favorite restaurant of all time. Seriously, I could eat there every day if you gave me the chance. I had time to do some window shopping, smell the Atlantic and catch up with people I love. I also saw the very fantastic Sex and the City on opening night with my girlfriends in Portland. It was awesome! I’d see it again but I don’t have any friends here in San Diego!
In the past couple of years I’ve been lucky enough to have traveled from Atlanta to Maine quite a bit. AirTran always has deals when I need it. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to come home quite as much with the extra distance, but it was so wonderful to spend a week rather than a long weekend. I’ll be home again probably at Christmas, barring any lengthy unemployment stints and another freak snowstorm that strand my bus again.
I’ll be back to posting photos and updates this week- stay tuned! Maybe I can even convince Pat to post again?
