We took 4 days to get from our home in Marietta to our new hometown of San Diego.
We stopped in Baton Rouge, LA on the first night to stay with friends. On the second night we stayed in San Antonio, TX with more friends. We didn’t have friends in New Mexico to stay with, so we stayed in a LaQuinta Inn. The final night we were in our extended hotel suite.
We took I-85 to I-65 in Alabama. We then switched to I-10 FOREVER. At last, a little after Tucson, we got on I-8 which took us into the mountains and to our destination.
East to West… that’s how we got here.
